The Vertigo of Possibility

There's a slim notion that life could possibly be different than how it's laid out and she can't stop fanatically obsessing over fate long enough to relax her soul.
Oh, the lull of melancholy lingers desperately to be broken by bounds of her desire.
You're living in her world of lust and fate,
Only carrying forth the actions of convenience.
Understand that if ever her two worlds of lust and fate met, her soul be content and she'd exist in an unshakable dream.
Envy the night skies; the stars burst with truth she's kept hidden for so long. --So close your eyes, sweet darling. Drift away, for tonight you exist in passion and will love without regret.
We are not playthings of fate, who at any moment might find ourselves for no apparent reason doing something morally despicable...Nor on the other hand are we mechanically 'compelled' to do certain actions or avoid others. The 'vertigo' is an illusion, albeit a necessary illusion. -Geoffrey Klempner
